Joza,
You have inspired me in so many ways, where do I even begin. I have learned to love myself and my body. It doesn't have to be perfect for everyone, but it is perfect for me. Self acceptance is hard when you are held hostage by the past. I realized I didn't want to live my life on the sidelines. Every thing is scary the first time.
Watching you step out on faith and start your own company, and not only succeed but thrive! led me to start my own company, something I have always wanted to do but didn't know where to start or what direction I wanted to take. I do now and I have begun the process. Which I am so excited about.
You taught me to take up space, be true to myself and that it is okay if not everyone likes me, as long as I like me. Nothing is stopping me from traveling the world, learning new languages, and living my truth unapologetically! My world has grown so much because of you. I am eternally grateful for you. I know it won't be easy, I know some days I may want to give up, but I won't, I will do it with grace and I will succeed.

My first time seeing you on my timeline, I was in the process of learning Korean. You encouraged me to continue learning about the language and the culture, while giving important travel tips. Seeing a Black Woman traveling the world and engaging in different cultures gave me hope that I could do it too one day. -Victoria
I joined your travel company because I wanted to learn how to travel solo, and you truly took me under your wing. You helped me overcome fears I didn’t even realize were holding me back, and gave me the confidence to explore the world on my own. Living abroad with you for a few weeks was more than just a travel experience—it was transformational. I learned how to be independent, but more importantly, I was deeply inspired by your spiritual strength and your dedication—not just to your purpose, but to God. That has stayed with me ever since.
Thank you for empowering me and helping me grow into a braver, bolder version of myself. I’m forever grateful.

Joza, you made me believe that there are people in this world who live the life I desire. At the same time, tenderness, confidence, and strength are the qualities of female charm that I have always believed in and pursued, and I see them in you! I believe you definitely can help more women find true freedom! -Hannah
Joza has deeply impacted my life in the short 3 years I’ve known her. She’s inspired me to step up, come out of my shell, and take action to live the life I’ve always wanted to. I’ve been frozen in my mundane life, although I have BIG dreams of where God can take me. But, Joza has a way of inspiring people to take that chance, book that flight, take that new opportunity, do something you’re scared to do, etc. I can see the amazing possibilities of my life in full color now, where I once only saw black and white, thanks to Joza being an amazing motivator and friend. ❤️

Joza, Your words, your presence, and your unwavering heart have poured so much light into my life and reminded me that nothing is impossible. You’ve also shown me how important it is to show up fully as myself in every area of my life. Thank you for always encouraging and believing in me. I’m so excited to see all that unfolds for you in this next season. -Caronaldco
Thank you for getting our trip out of the group chat! I’ve had the pleasure of attending two tours (Thailand and South Korea) with Joza and we had an amazing time. These are two places that I wanted to go but I was not sure how to go about planing or creating the itinerary (don’t judge me). I’ve been blessed to have friends who love to plan out trips, so all I do is pay and show up. With the tours Joza offered, it made it just that simple, pay and show up!
I also liked how Joza had mini trip meetings so everyone going on the trip can meet one another prior to the trip so it makes it less awkward once we meet in person. But the best part, Joza is down to earth, chill and trustworthy. It’s hard to trust when every turn someone is attempting to scam, but transparency is something that Joza provides so you know from the beginning where the funds are going and what to expect. Overall, I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Joza, thanks again friend😜🤪😇

My dear, you are top five of the kindest people I know. When I was new to California and didn’t know a soul, you befriended me. When I was homesick, you showed me what the city had to offer. as I battled with being home sick and trying to figure out my purpose in life, you called, checked in and sent motivational prayers and scriptures to keep my spirits up. Time and space separated us physically but she never gave up or stopped speaking life into me.

Dear Ms. Joza,
Thank you for creating a space where Black women like myself and my mother could explore South Korea feeling seen, safe, and celebrated. Your leadership gave us more than just a trip—it gave us a sense of belonging in a place we may have never imagined experiencing so fully. I’m grateful for the courage you model and the freedom you help others embrace; your journey has deeply inspired mine.
With love and appreciation,

Jo's nurturing extroverted personality makes it so easy to learn from her and become comfortable in any space that she puts you in alongside with her. I'm so glad all those years ago she was my first step into korean language learning, her experiences allowed me to see a glimpse of what is possible. Jo’s Miss Do-It-All, and I’m proud to be her Miss Do-It-All Junior. She’s the kind of person who helps create Yonsei’s future grads.

Meeting you had a big impact on my view of self. You had a fire and courage to explore, grow and change in order to accomplish your goals and better yourself. You weren't afraid to try new things, even if it wasn't the norm and that encouraged me to continue on my own path too. -Vanetta
our kindness, encouragement, and presence have made such a difference—more than words can express. During every challenge and every triumph, knowing you were there gave me strength and courage to persevere through life’s challenges. -Erica
